Menu compiled by Peter Veldsman, Alicia GilioMee ( Executive chef, Karoo Art Hotel – Alicia and her team are also in charge of preparation of all dishes) and Dylan van Eijkeren.
It’s a once-off, not-to-be-missed event, made even more special by the presence of the great Peter Veldsman himself, who devised the menu. His co-hosts are Dutch author Dylan van Eijkeren , food and travel writer from Amsterdam, who has written extensively about the tradition of rijstafels in Amsterdam. He is a specialist Rijsttafel consultant, and will also be in attendance on the night of the Karoo Art Rijsttafel feast. They are joined by KAH executive chef Alicia Giliomee, who has previously worked in kitchens at Laborie, Vergelegen, Rhebokskloof and other 5-star establishments.

Whichever room you choose, you get the extra luxuries that count: top quality mattresses, soft percale linen, piping hot showers. With the exception of the Garden Suite, all rooms are located on the first floor, some with views from balconies overlooking the village or garden.
