This season Mynhardt is inviting guests to join him around the long table at his cosy home restaurant in Paarl, for a ‘fynbos-inspired’ four-course lunch. The luscious menu includes trout, free range lamb, crispy duck-fat roast potatoes and Chef Mynhardt’s famous Christmas Cake. All are paired with wines and aged brandies from KWV’s Empyrean Collective range. An epicurean feast for only R650 per person!
Chef Mynhardt’s food philosophy is firmly rooted in the principle of generosity. His are dishes a reflection of his big-hearted and giving personality. Says Chef Mynhardt: “Christmas is a very special time for me. Chef Mynhardt, who is an ambassador of KWV wines and who has just been appointed ambassador for Karusaf free-range lamb, drew inspiration from these brands to create a menu that bursts with delicious flavours and creative food-and-wine matches.
