Celebrate the 10th annual Hands-on Harvest festival in Robertson Wine Valley!
The Cape social calendar is pretty much wine-centric and at this time of the year, there are Harvest Festivals aplenty. This weekend, 23-25 February, is HOH – shorthand for the Hands-On Harvest Festival.
Held annually in the Robertson Wine Valley for the past decade, it’s one of the better organised and more popular Harvest Festivals with a huge range of attractions.
So what’s waiting for you, lover? Delicious local wines, warm country hospitality, hearty country cuisine and all that the beautiful towns of Ashton, Bonnievale, McGregor and Robertson have to offer.
You can also experience the grape’s journey from vine to barrel with hands-on activities, from picking and stomping grapes, to cellar tours, wine tasting master classes and blending your own wine creation. How’s that for getting down to the nitty gritty?

The Family Market on Sunday is free and takes place from 10am-2pm at Viljoensdrift Fine Wines and River Cruises. Support local vendors at the Harvest market and bring your friends and family with to enjoy wine tastings, live music and kids activities including horse and tractor rides, local produce, treats, pastries, kids clothing, pet goods, organic products, local cheeses and olives as well as home-ware and more!
